This does not involve the use of any code or script to use hack your blog to apply this particular effect, is just a text box you need to clear and add your own number.
login normally to your blogger blog(other blogger tips and blogger widgets) account.
Click on Design to access the layout page of your blog.
When the blog layout page displays, click on the "Blog Posts" Edit Layout Immediately after you might have finish clicking on it, there will be a new browser pop up window.
This contains all the things you need to use to set up your blog posts effects.
On the configuration window click on the "Number Of Post On Main Page" text box as showing on the blog picture short bellow . Click on the text box and type in your desirable number in there by first of all clearing the defaulted.
After all the proceedure has being completed successfully just scroll down the window and click on save to save your settings.
Don't forget to save your settings after every layout edit at the at the blogger layout window
